AVP’s principal consultant is JoAnn Schuh. JoAnn's experience spans more than nineteen years in diagnostic, experimental and toxicologic pathology. Her background and training have provided her with a high level of expertise in comparative pathobiology, animal models of human disease, tumor biology, cell signaling molecules, infectious diseases, proteomics and tissue-based reactions of drugs, biologics, medical devices and chemicals. Her multi-disciplinary education, experience and credentials in veterinary medicine, comparative pathology, immunology, infectious diseases and toxicology are integral to JoAnn's unique qualifications as a consultant. She is capable of assisting with a broad range of scientific and regulatory issues encountered by industrial, bio/pharmaceutical, biomedical, medical device, drug delivery and contract research organizations. She is knowledgeable in species- and strain-specific diseases and toxic responses in laboratory animals, domestic animals, wildlife, fish, invertebrates and humans.
